The Board Members of NERRC must vote to approve your membership before it becomes active. Once your application is received, your name will be placed on the club's mailing list to receive our newsletter, The Ridgeline.
Your application will then be announced at the next BOD meeting and will then be published in the following edition of The Ridgeline as a "first read". After your name has been published, the board will then vote on your membership. You will be notified as soon as your membership becomes active.
In the meantime, you are encouraged to attend all club events to meet other members and to be welcomed to the NERRC Family!
ANNUAL DUES are as follows:
1. SINGLE (Individual Voting) $25.00
2. FAMILY (Two Voting) $30.00
3. ASSOCIATE (Non-Voting) $20.00
There is a $5.00 initiation fee for all new applicants. The fee will be earmarked for Rescue.
There is a complimentary one year Associate Membership for anyone adopting a rescue dog.
In addition to the dues, some of the club events will have a nominal charge to cover the costs of speakers, renting a field, etc.
Our parent club, The Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States (RRCUS), is another wealth of information and resources for all things Ridgeback. If you are interested in learning about how to join our parent club, you can find their Membership Application here.

Anyone who has a love of and/or an interest in the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed, is at least 18 years of age, is a member in good standing with the American Kennel Club, and who agrees to abide by the Code of Ethics and By-Laws of The New England Rhodesian Ridgeback Club can become a member of the club. Members typically own one or more Rhodesian Ridgebacks and live in one of the six New England states (although neither is a requirement for membership).
In order to become a member you must complete a NERRC MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION. Applications can also be provided by the club's secretary.
The application requires a sponsor who is a member in good standing of The New England Rhodesian Ridgeback Club. Frequently this sponsor is the breeder from whom you got your Ridgeback, but this is not a requirement. If you do not have a sponsor, you can come to an event to meet other members and find a sponsor. Please consider this an invitation to come to future events and to join the club.
Before completing the application please take the time to read the Code of Ethics on the application. Your signature indicates your intent to abide by the Code of Ethics as a member of The New England Rhodesian Ridgeback Club.
